Abstract
|
|
|
Lipoleiomyoma of the uterus are uncommon and are almost in variably benign. Occasionally the clinical presentation or macroscopic appearance may mimic a sarcoma and their diagnosis is made postoperatively in most instances.
A case of lipoleiomyoma of the uterus identified preoperatively by ultrasound and confirmed by pathologic examination is presented and reviewed.
